Simply Christmas: The Gift of Weakness

Life seems to becoming increasingly complex. In a world that is so chaotic, divided and violent, it can be easy to let the intensity and anxiety drown our souls and warp our perspectives. This year, we are simply returning to the Christmas story not because we need new information, but because we need to be reminded that in the coming of Jesus Christ, heaven is coming to earth. We remember that we know the end of the story when God makes all things new, and right and good. As we anchor ourselves in this remembrance, it allows us to simply rest, be simply joyful and simply be as we simply celebrate Christmas.
