Ready for Rest: Un-Rushing

Most of us look forward to summer.  We’re ready for the sun, ready for fun and ready for rest.  The problem is, most of us don’t know how to get ready for rest so summer ends up being busier, crazier, more harried and more hectic than the rest of the year.  Join us at Life Church as we learn some key disciplines to get us ready for rest. Easter Sunday: Who is Barabbas?

He is Risen! Easter is the defining moment of human history because on Easter we celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection from the dead, rejoicing in the forgiveness of our sins, the redemption of the world and the invitation to His new way to be human.  At Easter, we see God’s heart, and we see it before Jesus ever gets to the cross.  Join us as we celebrate and reflect on the meaning of Easter through the story of Barabbas.

Good Friday 2023

On Good Friday, we pause and acknowledge the death of Jesus on the cross.  We pause to reflect in silence and stillness, lamenting at the world’s brokenness, confessing our sins personally and corporately, and finally extending and receiving forgiveness.  We celebrate Easter Sunday with joy, but we cheapen the joy of the resurrection when we miss the necessity of the crucifixion.  

Join us as we participate in stations to reflect as we celebrate Good Friday.
